WEGO is an orienteering club based in Galway City comprising map makers, competitors, family members along with former members who live in the U.K., Nederlands, Argentina, Poland, Slovakia and further afield. A polyglot, pan European club welcomes all members and prospective members who are committed to developing the sport of orienteering.

WEGO, an innovative club contributed a Chairman, (Frank Ryan), a PRO (Paul Dunne) and other club members to the Irish Orienteering Association. WEGO has much more to contribute to this most international of sports through innovation and forward thinking.

The Eagle symbolises the club ethic. A sharp lookout is maintained for mapping projects and potential orienteering terrain for both championships and local events.
